Let me introduce myself by saying that I like to think of myself as a life-long learner. In fact the older I become, the more learning I know I need to do. As well as that, I would describe myself as a lover of life, new adventures, Italian food in Lygon Street and Dacshunds. These are just a few of my favorite things … but there are others also. Especially my wonderful husband and best friend Roger. We also have three children, two are married (waiting for grandchildren). And our other child, our amazing son went to heaven before us a few years ago. The shock and loss is something I never imagined would ever be my reality. (He had a heart condition – one day he was here – and the next he was gone.) For those who have experienced the loss of a child, you will know it is not something you “get over” in time. Life is never the same. This experience has deeply shaped my life and ministry. I now have a much deeper compassion for others who have experienced loss of some kind (perhaps a loved one, a divorce, or a financial or career loss). What I can honestly say though, is that through it all (and every other challenge I have had in life – and there have been quite a few) I have experienced the depths of God’s amazing love. He is the God of all-compassion – I have experienced it firsthand.
Now let me go back a few years … At the age of 19, I was living a fairly selfish life, and I wasn’t very interested in God. I saw Christianity as quite irrelevant to my life. But at the age of 19, I developed a huge desire to “know the truth” (my parents prayed for me alot!) After a year of solid searching, I realised that Jesus WAS the truth, and I knelt one night in my bedroom, and gave my life to Him. It was the best decision I ever made. His amazing love came flooding into my hungry heart, and I have been following Jesus ever since!
"Each one of us has a God-given calling and have been divinely designed to be change agents in the world"
It was during my time as a pastor, that God spoke to me about the Almond Tree in the Bible. I followed His leading to start this ministry to the Body of Christ bringing a message of awakening, healing, and activating believers into their God-given destiny. I left pastoral ministry and now speak in churches of all denominations hosting workshops, seminars, speaking to leadership groups and especially at women’s events. I have a deep passion to see women encouraged, healed, and empowered to fulfill their God-given destiny.
