ACCELERATED FRUITFULNESS - THE PROPHETIC SIGN OF THE ALMOND TREE

At our recent EMERGING DREAMS workshop, I enjoyed showing those present some of the almonds from my Tree. This was because EVERY stage of the Almond Tree is a PROPHETIC PICTURE of your own identity and destiny. What joys there are to discover in God's word.

If you have read previous posts, you will know that the Almond Tree is remarkable for many reasons. Not only is it called the AWAKENING TREE because it awakens before other trees heralding the new season, BUT IT IS ALSO THE FASTEST FRUIT TREE TO BEAR FRUIT. (Yes, the Almond Tree produces fruit, not nuts. It comes from the drupe family as do cherries, mangoes and peach.)

As it produces fruit so rapidly, it is (affectionately) known as the HASTY TREE. From the time it blossoms, it only takes a short SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS for its fruit to be fully formed and ready to eat.

This fast-growing fruit is a prophetic picture of divine acceleration - God's work in our lives to produce RAPID FRUITFULNESS.

God designed the Almond Tree to "get on with being fruitful!" May it remind YOU that God created you to be extraordinarily fruitful, producing abundant, fast-growing, high quality fruit (almonds are a super-food).

Every year, I experience such joy as I watch the EMERGING FRUIT form on my Almond Tree. The life-cycle of the Almond Tree is fascinating.

The blossoming stage comes first, with the blossom being held on by the calyx. Both the blossom and the calyx "support and protect" the new emerging Almond fruit, until it is strong and secure. Then they dry and fall off - with the tiny green fuzzy almond continuing to grow until it is fully formed. As mentioned, this only takes between six to eight weeks. You can see this stage in the picture below (which was taken of my tree, named Jeremiah!)

At the end of this short period, they are then ready to pick, eat and enjoy! They are loved and enjoyed in many countries like this - delicious tossed in salads and other appetizers and they are extremely good for you. If you're wondering what they taste like, it is similar to a cucumber, with a soft jelly-like centre.

In another few months, I will share another blog on the next stage of the Almond Tree which is when they have been ripened in the sun.

God's timing for the EMERGING DREAMS Workshop coincided perfectly with the accelerated EMERGING FRUIT of my Almond Tree - a sign and confirmation of the rapid emerging dreams and fruitfulness He has for us. It was an amazing time. Praise God the the powerful revelations every woman received.

If you didn’t get to the workshop, there will be another one next year. In the meantime, if you feel like enjoying some green almonds, there is a recipe below. Enjoy!
