Everlasting Hope in Jesus

Jesus is my Lord and my King

He's in my heart each day;

He is my hope, my peace, my joy

He loves me, come what may.

Jesus is my friend and my guide

No challenge need I fear,

His power is unlimited

His presence ever near.

In Him I have eternity

In Him I am set free;

He is the One who can fulfill

My true identity.

After my earthly journey's done,

My home in heaven will be;

Up with the angels praising Him

His face in glory see.

Then will I know with transformed mind

How He has led me on;

Empowered by Him, through trials and tests,

In Him, the victory won.
